I tried to compile all possible fixes for B2 under one package along with my custom launcher.
Just unpack blood_2_fix.zip into the game folder and run the game from Steam as usual.

Wow, this seemed to have worked perfectly. I tried to apply different fixes suggested in the guides section, nothing really worked to 100% satisfactio, but this seems to be perfect for me. Thank you. Please share it in guides section with the game community.

So there is one problem with the game i.e. the game runs to fast. I will to find a setting in config file. Hopefully it can be done that way or maybe some compatibility mode with older OS.

Does capping frametate to 60 fps fix this?

What is steam super heater? Never heard of that...
Unfortunately got a hard crash from this game immediately.

And thanks man that actually made it work, funny gibs. One question, why is the menu a very bright black and white and hard to see or even look at? This makes saving and loading very hard. I can just barely make out the menu choices. I can still play the game but the title and menu is all weird.

Anyone else got this?

Op gets an extra helpful for pointing out steam heater to me, very nice program wish it worked for all steam games.

Tried to install it manually and with superheater. No chance. It's not starting. I have so many great memories about this game. I hope it will run one day on a modern PC.

EDIT: don't run from Steam, run the launcher from Explorer, IT WORKS!

Absolute legend. After years of trying to get this game playable and to work at any decent setting.

I installed your fix and it worked perfectly. I capped the FPS in the Nvidia control panel to 60 so that the cutscenes don't play too fast and now the game is perfect!

Can't wait to play and try it out!

Seems to work great for me, cutscenes still run a little too fast even after using nvidia control panel to cap the frame rate to 60, any ideas on how to fix that?
