Go to this link below. (The patch says it’s for Shogo: Mobile Armor Division but also works with Blood 2: The Chosen)
https://github.com/elishacloud/dxwrapper/issues/54
Scroll down until you find the file “dinput.zip”
Once it’s download, extract the file from dinput.zip and place it in your Blood 2 folder
Coincidently, the creator of that dinput, elishacloud has helped me on github with directx 8 on another old game to get it running in directx 9 via a different wrapper.
I appreciate you taking the time to post the link and instructions!
Love older games like this as well. I Go back to this along with other classics like Duke Nukem and Quake. Good times.
Cheers fellow ol' timer FPS fan! I've found quite a few work around's to get lots of the old games running sweet on newer hardware.
If you ever run into any issues, get at me and i'll see if i can return that favour
Did you use the file uploaded near the bottom of the thread that says "The mouse could definitely be hidden that way. Try this build. I just hard coded it to hide the mouse.
Just unzip this into the Shogo game folder: dinput.zip" ?
That's the one that worked for me
I'm also on 2560x1440p @165Hz, but I capped my fps to 59 just to be sure and it was the same.
Should work :) I just died a lot on Suicide, second level.
