Mouse movement Blood

Is there any way to setup mouse look as it is really a chore to play it right now..I cannot look up with the mouse is there any way to setup the mouse as a standard FPS. I want to play and enjoy this game I found the atmosphere so good. Please help

This game was made to be played with keyboard only. As a matter of fact, since it is only 2.5D and not true 3D, vertical aiming is not even required unless there are 2 monsters on top of each other (and in that case it doesn't really matter because you want both of them dead anyway). There is in-game support for mouse control but it is very basic.

That said, if you really want nowadays mouse-look you can use an external program like bmouse.

you can press u for mouse aiming but its reversed so down is up and up is down.

u can run setup in your blood directory. drag setup.exe to dosbox.exe and u have access to everything.

I don't know how I used to play this game. But I put hours and hours into it on hard mode just with the keyboard. I haven't been able to clear level 1 on normal yet, simply because the controls are horrendous.

- Mouse aim (look) is off by default, press a key to activate it
- See control options in Blood to invert mouse movement
- For better mouse movement (both axis at once) you need to set up BMOUSE.EXE, see community guides
- To use mousewheel (and sidebuttons) you need to use AutoHotkey (search the discussions)

Blood can be played just like a modern FPS game, it just takes some effort to set it up.

whatever pretty much summed it up. press U during the game to activate mouse look. Go into the options, and under controls change the invert mouse look to your preference. To set the mouse button controls, you must launch the games setup and do it from in there as far as I know.
