This game need remake, not a remaster.
Lets hope it gets mod support aswell.
What...
If Blood remaster will be done in the same way then it's pointless cashgrab.
Even the port could get nice adds and others! Night Dive Studios people like a lot Blood (pretty sure it's one of their fav games to remaster and stuff ;)
Gonna buy a lot of copies for my friends to allow them to enjoy this game.
It's a pretty good start, Blood forever!
This is great news and something all fans have been waiting for a long time now.

This is the one thing that bugs me, when people mention BloodGDX as the ultimate source port and way to play blood. Right now, yes it is the most proper way to play the game. And I myself do like BloodGDX and its the best alternative. However, in no way does that mean the port is 100% true to the original. It's very close, but its not 100%. The colors are washed out and not true to the original blood (I have included screenshot as an example) and there are some quirks here and there that you may experience that the original game didn't have. Also BloodGDX does not run smooth for everyone; for example I always have screen tearing issues with the port. Thus, a proper official remaster of the game is very welcome as it wlll make the game more accessible across Steam and GOG etc.
Here's the image comparison. Left is BloodGDX and right is DOSbox. Very clearly you can see the differences in how the game looks. The right is much more gritty and all the detail is lost in the left one. HUGE difference if you ask me.
