Issue when aiming and shooting with a controller
I know this game has been out for quite a while now, but I recently got it from Steam. After fixing the widescreen issue by adding the aditional line in the CFG file, I've just come across another issue:

I play with an XBOX ONE controller (same drivers as 360 controller, so that's not the cause of the problem). Sometimes, when I aim (LT) and shoot (RT), the right trigger seems to cancel the left one. Like, I aim with LT, the crosshair appears, then I push RT to fire and all of a sudden, the reticle is gone and I'm firing from the hip (as if I wasn't aiming with LT). If I stop shooting, the character goes back to aiming as usual.

This only happens sometimes. Also, when I'm under cover and I fire an automatic weapon, the character usually stands up, fires one round and goes into cover again, when I'm actually holding LT (so he should stand up and aim) and RT to fire. But after one shot, he remains like that until I release both buttons and aim and fire manually again.

Is there a fix to this issue? Please let me know if you do =)

PD: Please, don't comment suggesting me to use M+K instead. I really prefer using a controller, and that's one of the main reasons I bought it in the first place. This game supports controllers natively, so this issue should be fixed by now.

Have you tried plugging the controller into another USB bus (front vs. rear; recommend you don't plug into external hub if possible) Remove other USB hardware if possible.

I just tried it, and it is still happening. Not surprised, actually; the controller worked perfectly on every other game on its current USB port. Besides, having to remove the rest of plugged hardware from the tower every single time I want to play one game isn't nice either. There must be another workaround.

Thank you anyway =)

Okay, solved. The controller was the issue, it was broken. Fixed now. Thanks for posting =)
