Installing the game on the same drive as the one with your OS might fix some of the issues you have.
But this was the case for Windows, not Linux, so it might not work for you.
no it runs verry well on linux. op just dont now how to get it to run.
They are not infinite. you have to kill, till the door opens;) (door is in the middle of the stairs)

You have a good point. I stay so far on the bleeding edge that I forget to consider older versions of proton. This was the golden key so thank you for that.
As the others mentioned, running Proton 7.06 and having the game on your main storage device does the trick.
As someone who champions Linux above other, less trustworthy options, I should have tried more to get it working. Do more research. I'll be honest, I didnt give it enough time the first attempt. I appreciate all of those who chimed in.
