its a great racing game. its super fun and challenging.. even more fun if you have friends over to do splitscreen or multiplayer.. what i want to know is if the online community is still active for online races and stuff

Game is awesome. The most fun is multiplayer with friends by far. But you´ll have to get Gameranger (for free) to play. It´s not hard and works really fine.

You can use Tunngle for LAN multiplayer, works exactly like the online game :)

Is it easy to set up Tunngle servers? I saw this game being played by 4 people tonight on some server using that software.

I was curious after I read your post so I ventured over there. They have an active community with plenty of information. It looks like a big deal so I'd say yes it should be easy.
