How to plug in controller

Hi, this game is pretty old and its doesnt recognize my controller, is not a Xbox one but i am able to use it in every other game, some advice to plug it in¿?

Did you switch input from keyboard to controller in settings? It will be keyboard unless you do this. After doing so you may also need to map controls in settings.

Note without a program like joy to key you will still need to use keyboard on menus

Yeah i figured it out later :) but i think i have to map it every time i run the game

I use Xbox one controller, it does not even show in game options. Any workaround, mod or anything I can use?

Have you tried using a program like Scptoolkit to install Xbox360 controller drivers? I did this to get my ps3 controller working. And i assume it would work for XB1 aswell it will disguise controller as a XBX360 one allowing it to work.
