I hate this game because it's too hard!

A few months ago, I wanted to try this game out off of GOG (I'm posting on the Steam forum because, apparently, I'm not allowed to post on the GOG forum...) because of all the "fun" I would have crash-racing! While I loved the music, I found the game overall to be too damn hard with its AI, and I raged to the point of being uncontrollable! I bought this game on sale for $2, but I raged so hard, and I hated this game so much, that I actually wanted a refund on it! Is there anyone out there that knows how to make the game EASIER??!!!?

I made the game easier by playing it and getting good. Which only took like 10 mins.

For the racing itself, I find it extremely easy, with a 5 minute learning curve at most. Too easy even, so I almost always end up cruising in 1st place. When this happens, I just slow down in order to crash into the other cars and bounce back again.

For the stunts, it's a bit more difficult, it takes some trial and error. For high jump, try not hitting any of the obstacles, go straight before launching, then launch at around a 63 degree angle, hit the nudge just after, and don't steer at all.

For the demolition derby, just get a tough car and upgrade its body. Easy peasy.

If your using a controller (Depending on your set-up) it could be the Y button as it is for me, not sure about the Keyboard though.

Also to the OP, the game can be hard at times but if it makes you rage then you need to try something else. This is a classic and the Entertainment you get from it can be worth it all together.

nah it isnt hard. all u need to know is most racing games (and this one to excess) cheat and help you a lot. If enemies are far behind you game makes them go faster and in the oposite situation they slow down so you can eventually catch them. Then there's no point to burn nitro when you are on first position and it really helps when you lose the lead.

This game is quite easy, you just need to play it for a while. I usually pick slower cars with good handling and I don't have problem getting 1st place.

It's all about RWD cars on the street or racing track (these have the best vmax and acc) and 4x4 or FWD offroad.

Just learn it in the mode outside campaign, but how does a gsme most people find normal (yes t may be hard) make you refund it?

Ok so if you kinda dislike sp you can get the OpenSpy Mod and have some fun with your friends

nvm dont use open spy directly, theres a guide on the steam community called something like How to play FlatOut 2 Online NO LAN NO HAMACHI
it will connect you to every Open Spy server so you have a bigger join list
