malwarebytes pop out

guys i cant belive its the game but my anti virus just pop out for some friking reason and said was from this game and was trying to conect to a random ip can i get some help?

The game has to make connections to Steam servers for its inventory and save files. Could it be that? Also my latest Norton version keeps scanning some new game updates, especially the lesser known indie games, due to its sensitive heuristics. It keeps thinking they're potentially unwanted programs.

Thats what I'm assuming it is, as I'm not getting popups for Petals earned or new cosmetics. I looked into what Malwarebytes was pinging it on and it was saying the IP address was compromised

I happened to fund an answer browsing Reddit. A game on steam (now removed) installed malware. This flagged Valve's IP Adresses and Malware now sees it. Valve is working on it and it should be cleared in a few days

From what I can tell it looks like Steam fixed the IP address flagging issue.
