What Was With That Music.
The music in the main trailer seemed really inapropiate for the WH40k Genre as a whole. truthfully it was a good trailer and I love anything 40k and I hope to enjoy this just as much as I did vermitide. Game looks good but the song in the trailer kinda made me go "What The ♥♥♥♥? Is this 40k?" I want to knw your guyses opinions on the trailer and ♥♥♥♥. Looks good to me, but the song, the song was a terrible choice.

I really enjoyed it. Gave a nice stand off/final stand vibe. Also people have been complaining about that song since the RotT trailer came out on YouTube like forever ago.

I would of enjoyed Bodies - Drowning Pool

That music is what grabbed my attention so much. I've been playing 40k and its offshoots for 22 years (necromunda, BFG and Space hulk being my three favourite games) and I get kinda tired with the endless bloody grimdark orchestral music. Someone on youtube had commented that it should be more like Space Marine, Final Liberation, Chaos Gate, blah blah - that's the point - ALL those games have virtually interchangeable music. More orchestral music, more Gregorian chanting. It's all well and good, but I found it hugely refreshing to hear something different (even if my initial thoughts were quite literally WTF). But the trailer is showcasing aspects of the terminators, their weapons and so forth, so the different music does draw ones eye/ears to that.

That said, I know a LOT of GW players personally who like metal, metal, nothing but metal and are morally offended by any music in any situation or context that is not metal. Do I expect them to like this? No. But I don't like their body odour either, and THAT my friends is why I don't physically go into GW stores anymore. Moral of the story, wear fresh clothes every day, deodorant, and if you can smell yourself, everyone else sure as can as well. Personal hygiene brings glory to the Emperor.

I dunno Final Liberation had a pretty unique soundtrack... classic 80's power metal with the occasional horns section busting in for some odd reason. Plus you had FMV Commissar Holt chewing up the scenery and rubber puppet orks to give it that awesome Plan 9 from outer space vibe.

It was different, but I enjoyed it. I can't imagine what music would be fitting that isn't trite and bland, so I think it was very successful and meshed with the "Insane space marine heading towards uncertain death" bit they were going for.

If anything, it is as fitting as the "Beastie Boys/Rogue One" mashup.

You meant the Emperor's Children.

HERESAY! BLAM! BLAM BLAM!

I thought it was ok. I would have preferred a heavy metal soundtrack, but frankly that gets old 100% of the time. Besides its just a trailer so i dont think its going to be representative of the final game.
Call Sign: Raven 10/set./2016 às 21:53
They used that song knowing how much cringe factor it would give us. Also, heresy.

Good for Kill Bill movie.
Heressy for Space Hulk.

Music is glorious, but doesnt fit the game in any way.

Purge the heretics!

The music sounded like "Salt and Peppah"(sic) of "Push it Real Good" fame from the late 80's or early 90's to me. Rap for Space Hulk? Not so sure about that. I thought that some corporation put it in the intro to try to sell one of their rap music songs of which they hold the license. And what is with the bullfighting music or mariachi...whatever it is. Someone mentioned "Hell's Bell's" by AC/DC....great suggestion*, but when I played EA's "Space Hulk" on my Amiga in 1993 I wore headphones and cranked "Enter Sandman" by Metallica. Now THAT was a rush! It really made my blood run cold. No, the music from the new trailer, in my opinion, doesn't make sense to me. And if it don't make sense, then something is afoot. The Devs may be getting more cash money from the music industry...or I may be completely clueless as to the Devs formula for this game. I'll wait and see.

RAP for Space Hulk? I don't like it, but that's my opinion. Maybe it will grow on me.

* EDIT: *Y'know "Hell's Bell's" by AC/DC was on the radio today...just running through the trailer in my head accompanied by the music...yep...yeah...uh huh...and yeah, I could definitely go for that. Kick a$$! Or, I'll go with the extreme (now don't flame me until you hear it), That Space Hulk intro, or even gameplay blasting "Die, Mother&^%$, Die!" by Dope...Extreme, perhaps...Appropriate for Space Hulk? You be the judge, but listen to it first, moth*&^%$#%s!!! OH man! I am just kidding! Bad taste...just tryin' to be extreme. I totally take it back..uh, oh..my mom just walked in. "I wasn't callin' nobody nuthin'...oh, what music am I listening to? Oh..umm...a friend told me to listen to it 'cuz the drums are...what are they saying..oh, the lyrics...um that's German or something...I know what it sounds like, but they.." ***WHOP!!!***
END EDIT

**thought I would include some legal mumbo-jumbo 'cuz Lars Ulrich has a nasty habit of suing the pants off those who infringe on Metallica's music rights ....a la Napster.

The music is utter bollocks, pure and simple. Not only is it unfitting for Warhammer 40K but it is just awful.
[KEBEL] Bacatran 19/set./2016 às 14:19
The song is gay. Only a millenial fagg0t would say it's cool. This heresy needs to stop.

It's set 38,000 years in the future! Barely anything from today's society is relatably to that era. It just doesn't fit.
(Not to mention the only "music" around would be the sound OF THE NOISE MARINES BLARING THEIR WEAPONS UNTIL YOUR EYES MELT AND YOUR HEAD EXPLODES!)

Oh you are so wrong.
