Sony does not allow crossplatform with Windows / XBOX.
So unless this game is released for XBOX, there will not be crossplatform play.

Technically it would be one click, yes, it happened before due to a dev's mistake, then got patched :)
Edit: just Google it. MS actually wants and offers free crossplatform play and Sony says DERP

Based on my limited knowledge, I don't think that is an completely accurate statement. While I'm sure Xbox and PS4 will not communicate for a quite a while longer (read: eternity), PS4 and PC do have games that are crossplatform now.

Fortnite, Star Trek: Bridge (in VR no less), and Rocket League are the ones that jump out in my head but there could be complications that I don't track. There should be more but I'm not really invested in the concept.

I would not be surprised if I'm wrong...

Sony says Derp, because when it was the previous generation and 360 was out selling PS3, Sony asked MS about crossplay and MS said derp,now that PS4 is out selling Xbox1 MS asked Sony and Sony said derp back. Each as bad as each other.

Sorry, no, I only checked it on Google, and facepalmed when I read the BS them corporate dudes are doing. I don't have a console, never ever had a console and probably never will have a console so I don't care about the whole thing.

I just spent 6 hours to get a half-failed Exchange 2013 running (it broke down on its own, but ONLY FOR THE BOSS), so I'm pretty fed up with MS atm :D

The console wars end along time ago the pc master race won because we probed that we could run both Sega and Nintendo on our system.

And the same is true about PlayStation and Xbox so no their no console wars only for second place.

The PC didn't win the console wars, it wasn't even a part of it.
It was because we had what 7 or so competing consoles. Sega, nintendo, atari, phillips, snk, sony, plus others.
The winners were Sony and Nintendo, MS didn't have a console at that time, phillips and snk disapeared from the market, Atari went bust again, and so did all the others.
