In several novels terminators run (the Blood Ravens omnibus comes to mind, when one of the Sgts in Terminator armor squares off against an Exarch - Tanthius? I might be getting the books / chapters / characters mixed up)
Or are you saying you want them to run faster?
I know its herecy to bring up this franchise (but I like both) but its kind of like the Spartan's Mjolinor suits from Halo.
The suit is a force multiplier, while weighing a tonne, but it probably links into their heads via a chip or port or something that moves the suit in tandem with their muscles.
So the suit moves when they do.
I would say, that the more heretical thing, (other than not knowing how to spell heresy,) is not knowing either the Halo or the 40k lore, while professing to beg Steam for refunds for a game you bought.
But, maybe that's just me...
ok....
as for begging steam, no I was just saying steam was actively and knowingly avoiding the consumer rights of their customers....
turns out I was right.... which is why valve now has to explain themselves on the store page...
https://store.steampowered.com/consumer_rights_notice/
But apart from my mis spelling heresy, whats wrong with the lore?
Because the suit, whether its in halo or 40k is ALSO a force multiplier as well as armour... Am I wrong?
Does the suit, while weighing a tonne, move when they do?
Does the suit, whether it be halo or 40k have technology in it that can detect the movements of its wearer? whether it be mechanical or cybernetic?
for my part I apologize, but ignoring the franchise part...
the suit is ALSO a force multiplier isnt it?
So yeah, it's basically an exosuit, but with ludicrously fabulous shoulder pads.
But they are not using just power suits. They are using terminator armor, which is way too heavy for the amount and speed of running that this game allows.
Cool.
I adhere to Hillslam's post regarding the board games on this one. He seems to know the lore and board games rules.
Seems to fit.
its even explained in the tutorial
and while loyalists having the experience to run in terminator armor is rare
there are several marines in history that prove its possible
for example Abaddon is said to be more nimble in his terminator armor then a regular marine in normal powerarmor
and that was the description of him before the heresy, so you dont need 10k years of practice to do it
tho again, its not common for loyalists
no climbing or jumping in terminator plate tho, dont believe DoW3's lies
That's one of the ways for assault class to deal with those pesky hybrids that always back off when we get close. Charge and stomp them quickly.
On TT terminators can advance or charge as normal models (tho they mvement is bit reduced to power armoured marines) and on board Spacehulk you are allowed to use command points for speed increase.
IN SHDW as long as it is short time speen increase I really don`t mind.
