Devs were to lazy to make a chainfist.
And yes lazy is a understatement
It's a shame they didn't include the Chainfist unless they planning on adding that in a update or dreaded DLC. Lore wise, the Chainfist was intended to break doors down in spaceships. It's a huge oversight that they didn't add this in the game.
Would be nice if they added a Sargent class to coop play which has it's own skills to aid the squad.
I assume these was left out becasue they ran out of time, after all this game is stil unfinished.
No modding sadly either, so people can't fix the sounds..

@Axonteer perhaps but ild still like to see it in game, and what sword if your talking about the libaryins sword that is a FORCE sword not a power sword same same but diffrent ive got two links up there that will show you the diffrence
In the table top they do serve similar purpose, too, but the Force Weapon gets the Instant Death rule, whereas power weapons don't. That means that you can, with a Force Weapon, kill many multiple hit point enemies with an unsaved wound, something that you can't with a power weapon. This is also represented in the board game adaption of Space Hulk, where you can't modify your die roll results with power weapons, but where the Librarian can channel, after the die roll and if he has enough Psi Points left over, his pyschic force into the weapon to kill his target. This makes the Librarian especially effective at killing the Brood Lord in the board game, as, with enough Psi Points, he can always take it out.
Therefore, Force Weapons are similar to Power Weapons, but not the same.
I gotcha, I knew there was a difference...but in a video game..you can barely tell...like in the Eisenhorn game...little difference btw the two. I definately can see the difference as far as the tabletop n all though...and when I play spacehulk ascension the librarian is almost OP compared to say...the dark angels equivalent (in the DLC pack) which is an apothecary..damnit...I wish that apothecary was more worth using >_<
