BFG was hyped to be the ♥♥♥♥ and while i admit the game is pretty, it feels right with the weapons and the mechanics, but it fell short in the balance department, as well as a limited engine (their words) that cannnot run large ship battles well, which WERE ADVERITISED, i believe the limit in points for ships was around 700 which is ridiculous as a battleship is around 300+ points and a cruiser is around 150+ escorts are between 20-50 but still we are talking about a handful of ships, its just, dissapointing and honestly offputting.
Better than most the AAA titles it emulates.
Litterally if they just increased the limits to like 7000 id instantly give it a good review, I remember watching the venerable neckbeards playing it at my local gaming stores, they had fleets that filled the table. Battleships and cruisers out the wazoo with a sea of escorts. I want that.
