The problem is not in the FPS, but in the distances between the images.
If it would be technically possible today to exactly place the sec with the exact distance, would be more than enough. Analogue films with 25 images / sec. Are liquid because the distance between the images is always the same.

But since graphics cards one picture after another on the monitor, as soon as it is finished, without consideration of the time intervals, jerks arise.
The fact that the film like Transformers jerks, is probably because the film on the PC is made and just the quirks with.

"For human perception, approximately 16 to 18 frames per second are sufficient to produce the illusion of flowing movement, continuity, as long as the individual images differ only slightly from one another."
Moving pictures

"However, the temporal resolution of facet eyes can be significantly higher than that of eyelets, which is about 250 images per second (250 Hz), which is about four times the human eye at 60 to 65 Hz."
eye

One has to differentiate here: the eye may still perceive 60-65 images / sec, but the brain can not process more than 16-20.

Mal a little brain OC operate?
