mouse/cursor placement to click buttons is off
was just trying the beta and doing the tutorial, got stuck at a point where I can't exit the armory after looking at wargear because where I have to place my cursor never lines up with where the button actually is (ex: I'll have to put my cursor just under some buttons in the graphics menu to actually click them). is this a problem with the game or my screen's resolution/size?

restarting the game seemed to fix it :U

Necroposting here, did you ever find a more permanent solution to this? I am constantly finding my mouse cursor off in menus. It's absolutely fine in-game but then I get into the equipment menu and everything goes screwy. Restarting does fix it, as you say, but it keeps coming back.

Was concerned it might be to do with the mouse/computer as well as I am using a slightly older mouse and using my laptop but the fact that I'm not alone suggests that this must not be an isolated hardware issue.

I haven't gotten around to playing this much since the release, but I've logged a few hours since the beta and never encountered the issue again

I had this same problem and restarting the game fixed it, but now the mouse courser won't go all the way over to the right side of the screen on the main menu and the tactical map during a mission.

This is super aggravating because I can't click anything in the right side of the screen.

Anyone else have a similar issue?

Im sure if you just click the mouse button it comes back with the cursour. Happened to me in multiplayer and pressing mouse button brought the cursur back.

Oh sorry i just read it properly :D

Do you have any scaling set on the Nvidia control pannel or elswhere? make sure its set to "no scaling" and not to "aspect ratio".

are you using DSR or some kind of "super-resolution" that upscales the resolution?

Hi everyone!

Please have a look at this topic. It seems to be a similar issue.

I'm having the same issue right now after just purchasing the game. The UI buttons become off-center and I have to move the mouse to the right of the buttons and blindly guess where the game is detecting the mouse cursor as being over the buttons.

I do not have the zoom feature enabled on my Windows 10 install, my desktop and browsers are all at 100% zoom. The linked thread did not seem to solve the issue.

Hello lPaladinl,

What's your screen resolution?

So I've tracked down the issue to being apart of either using Unreal Engine 4 or it's System Cursor location options. UE4 does not like it when the user has their Windows Taskbar located anywhere but the default position. Despite the game being in fullscreen, if my Taskbar on the desktop is located on the left, all UI click boxes are shoved towards the Right. Likewise if the Taskbar is on the Right, all of the click boxes are shoved to the left.

I've run into the issue on other UE4 games now, and the only way to work around it is to either give up using the Windows Taskbar outside of the bottom default position, or to play in Windowed Fullscreen mode (which likewise doesn't always work with taskbars not being at the bottom).
