Way to much muzzle flash
Okay, I'm not the kind of guy that get easily bothered by stuff like motion sickness and too much fx, but the muzzle flahs of that game ARE WAY TOO flashy.

The whole screen flash white and since most of the game is pretty dark and you shoot A LOT it make the experience terrible.

At first I was thinking it was somthing happening with the autogun of the heavy, but ♥♥♥♥ no, EVERY weapon do that !

My eyes litteraly HURT, it never happenend before on any game it's HORRIBLE.

If you had that on the fact that every weapons have a stupidly high spread and your enemy are constantly runing in the dark it make the shooting experiense pretty bad.

I think that is kind of the idea behind the gameplay.
But if it's too much and people are having problems with it, they may want to consder changing it.

Fully agree here.
Basically after every shot i lose my target, and as the Gene's move so friggin fast that makes it quite... difficult

I'm watching a Twitch stream, and it's honestly difficult. I'm not sure I could get used to the screen flashing so much in regular gameplay.

I agree. The Muzzle Flash is redonkulous. I can't play the Heavy Marine with the Assault Cannon because it hurts my eyes.

i like difficult gameplay
holding a roaring cannon spewing hundreds of rounds a second SHOULD have a giant muzzle flash and kick like a mule

the spread is a bit weird on some weapons, it needs tuning up.... but weapons having disadvantages like that and the game deliberately annoying and distracting you is a GOOD thing, as long as its well tuned and balanced

At first I was thinking that too. But they the flash just fried my eyes and scramble my brain.
In therory it's a cool idea in practice it's just terrible.

They should have tone it like EVERY other games, with recoil that you have to compensate.
If every game does it it's precisly because it's the best way to give disadvantage to strong weapon, muzzle flash is just an horrible idea.

Actually it should not. Muzzle flashes are not even very intense on modern high caliber weaponry and they should be even less so in the future unless we went back to black powder...

Indeed, but recoil on the otherhand, even with a terminator armor, is still a thing with a damn assault cannon.

personally i can appreciate design that is deliberately throwing rocks under my feet - so much handholding in games lately that it makes me sick

i dont want predictable recoil either, but maybe it could be made a little more manageable... but i actually really damn love the muzzle flash on the assault cannon, cant help it

Try messing with your post processing setting, I found adjusting that made a big difference with the lighting. I almost couldn't see at first till I fixed it.

keep in mind your firing basicly 40mm grenades that are bullets from most of your weapons. its gonna be a big bang but maybe they can add an option to reduce it or something worth sending to devs as feedback

Well to be fair Warhammer guns aren't very sleek and futuristic. They are very Powerful and Over the Top. It fits as Warhammer 40k is essentially a Fantasy universe.....IN SPAAAAAAAACE.
