This edition will add exciting new content and features for players who dare enter the Genestealer-infested Space Hulk – all of which will be included in a massive update of free content for PC players.

The new content is delivered in a series of update on PC, several of which have already been release in the last few months:

• Full multiplayer progression system with loot and class customization
  
• New multiplayer class (Interrogator-Chaplain)
  
• New weapon and skills (Return to Olethros update)
  
• New enemies

Yes, it's the EE. To clarify, what I said earlier is correct, i.e. that the latest 'news' is that they are working on a 'communication plan' for this year. This smacks of trouble.

Officially, we have not heard anything since this OP. While it was someone who works for the publisher who said about the laughable communication plan, it was only in response to a post in their forum.

So they haven't actually clarified anything at all to the masses, either here or on social media. Given that they seem perfectly happy to just let a deadline go without even apologising to players/fans, that's even more trouble.

I see. But when it comes to deadlines or announcements I wouldn't take things too literally

WoW didn't benefit from an exact launch day when Cataclysm was released (because the content wasn't that good (in my view)).

On the other hand, it may helped WoW a lot that Burning Crusade was delayed for several months (back in the days).

But let's get back to Space Hulk: Deathwing. I think people are unhappy with the situation because (without the Enhanced Edition being released) they at least want to take a second or third glimpse (or even a look) at the new content.

One way or the other, people want to have the feeling that somebody cares about them.

If it makes any difference, I wish they could add/implement a third person view option. I know that it's not too popular but having that option could add some fire up for some players, though few. Kinda like in Space Marine.

But then again since most of the hallways and spaces you explore in the Space Hulk cramped and are only big enough to fit 1 terminator, I guess it won't be too good then.

I would like to see Cataphractii and Tartaros patterns; however Aquilon, Allarus, Gorgon and Aegis patterns are only used by their respective Chapters/Custodes.

Aquilon and Allarus are only used by Custodes, which are not a space marine chapter.

Gorgon is only for Iron hands chapter, as they made it.

Aegis is only for Grey Knights.

None of the above are available for the Dark Angels.

Games are supposed to reflect the content they are based off, especially for a lore heavy setting like 40k. So no, giving Dark Angels access to Custodes armour just for the hell of it would be a pretty poor game design decision.

I think a lot of the armor skins are dark angels sucessor chapters (you can see some skins in the EE promo vids).

W40k is all about lore and Codex. If you stray from that you pretty much ♥♥♥♥♥♥.
