If this game is going to follow the steps Magia Record did, they'll release it for a year and pump-and-dump gacha banners immediately before announcing EOL.

Well it's listed language wise as supporting both english and Japanese, and you can transfer data from Magia records. So odds are we're sharing servers with Japan here and they're skipping distibution on DMM this time. So unless JP shuts down we won't get shut down.

So's Granblue. And Cosmic Break. And Runescape, and many others out there. Basically it boils down to being self published instead of published through a licencing company like Aniplex. Aniplex holds the rights to Madoka Magika, but Aniplex only publishes their stuff in certain countries. You'll note the same countries they are publishing in are the same restrictions FGO has. Basically get Aniplex to invest their money into getting their copyrights into more of the world if you don't want to use a vpn to download it on your phone.
