i thought they already shut that game down in 2020
It's the North America server which has closed in 2020, the others servers fellow (Korean, Taiwan, Continental China, etc) and now it's the japanese's one, the last remaining, which closes this summer.
TLDR: Gacha games are for gamers that don't have time to play games
Also, to the Gacha defenders: You're braindead.
One of you praised it for the possibility of including more characters after release. That's called an update or even a DLC. Every game can do that.
Another said it wouldn't be as time-consuming as a regular game. Maybe. At least if you're willing to pay the big bucks for your characters. Otherwise, you'll be stuck grinding and rolling for the characters you want for ages. I'm guessing this was more in relation to the gameplay (which I also don't like but that's definitely preference), which has nothing to do with the Gacha part. Gacha is a cash grab targeting people weak to gambling. That gameplay is just what most Gacha games use because it's comparatively easy and cheap to implement, but they could just implement it like that without the Gacha aspect.
TLDR: Gacha games are for gamers that are ok with being taken advantage of monetarily and like gambling more than gaming.
I'm just saying, gacha is not even close to being one of the major problems with gaming today, i'm talking about things like sweet baby inc. and others, trying to force inclusion in everything they make.
