i do agree that they should disclose if their GAME gonna use AI. When they actually show gameplay of the GAME itself, and not just some promotional material. If they don't - then yeah, they would be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Ok so it's because it looks like something out of a dream, kinda ugly, rushed, like they took the easy path, right ? . But if everything was nice, ai assets would be ok ? Or that imply nothing made with ai can be 'nice'?

AI generated content is largely built on theft, and it shouldn't be included in games or any form of art, because it destroys the heart and creativity in order to produce slop for the masses. Not disclosing it to the people is even worse since that's false advertising.

Moral and legal issues aside, Steam requires disclosure of AI usage. This game's Steam page has none. So the authors are scammers essentially. Personally I don't want AI in my art, but I do know it's not possible to stop it. But I do require ability to quickly tell which games use it, so that I can avoid them. Simple as that.

AI requires a lot of energy to make and even outside of the built on theft bit, it's just horrid for the environment on a scale way past the norm.
Plus if they're willing to obscure and lie on the AI and NFT bits of this what other shady things are they trying to cover up?
