[SOLVED] How is Duct Tape and Wad of Putty a metal?

Everytime I go throught a metal detector to my job, and I have Duct Tape or a Wad of Putty on me, it makes the metal detector go off and I get caught, why is that?

The sensor's don't just sense metal. This kind of breaks physics in the real world but they can sense any contraband on you (apart from stuff in the weapon slot)

Thanks Luke, but that sucks, if only it will detect metal objects and not all contraband.

If you craft a contraband pouch and have it in your inventory while passing through a detector,it'll mask all contraband you have on you, with 20%/passage.
You need:
Duck Tape
Foil

Yeah a lot of new players mistake Contraband Detectors for Metal Detectors.
I hate it when that happens, don't you?
