Timber Support Bug?

So I've ran into a problem twice (once in Stalag and now in Shankton) where no matter how many timber braces I put down I can't continue my tunnel. I filled every available spot with a timber brace and still get the "you need to brace your tunnel with supports!" message when I try to dig. Has anyone else had this problem?

Nevermind...I had started habitually dropping the timber supports instead of clicking on them and placing them in the tunnel. Now all is well and my epic tunnel masterpiece can continue.
