I CAN'T PLACE POSTERS??

I've bought this game quite awhile ago but I've never got to playing it. I've finally started playing and I have been trying to place posters but it won't work for some strange reason. I know how to place them and where to but it still won't work. Any help would be much appreciated. :)

Perhaps your character is slightly too close. If your character has a hair in the spot the poster goes then it won't place. I prefer to walk out of the spot then walk against the wall next to the spot where I want to place the poster so I'm within range to place it but out of range to block it.

Sorry to hear that you can't place posters.
I've just double checked that this is working and didn't notice any issues.
So that I can try to figure out what's going wrong, I'd like to ask that you please get back in touch with the following:

1. Whether you're playing with a keyboard and mouse or gamepad
   
2. Which prison/s you've experienced this in
   
3. The type of tile that you're trying to place the poster on (chipped wall, fence, missing wall, etc...)
   
4. How you're trying to place the tile (the button or key that you're pressing)
   
5. A screenshot showing an example of where this occurs

I still can't get this to happen when I do exactly what you're doing.
So that I can figure out whether this is a global problem for you, or just an issue with your save, I'd like to ask that you please e-mail me your save file.
Your save files can be found in - C:\Users\USERNAME HERE\Documents\The Escapists

Thanks for getting in touch with your save file.
I've experienced the same behaviour when trying to place a poster in your cell.
In a fresh save, created on my account, I'm unable to reproduce the issue.

This leads me to believe that the fault is with your particular save file.
At this point, I'd like to recommend that you please start a new save file and let me know if you experience the same problem.
