I normally play escapists on a windows computer but i have recently got a mac as my other computer is riddled with virus'. I know that it is laughed upon playing games on a mac but it is the situation i am in. when i load up the escapists (in fullscreen) i can see my mouse on top of the green cursor that you use during the game. i must hold down my right mouse button to move and select things and would really appreciate if some one could help

Hey Charliewright27,

I am sorry to hear you are having issues with The Escapists.
So that i can help you further, could you please confirm the following:
Whether this issue persists when playing the game in windowed mode
Whether the drivers for your mouse are correctly installed

It may also be worth verifying your games file cache. In order to verify the integrity of your game cache, please follow these steps;

1. Load Steam
2. From the Library section, right-click on the game and select Properties from the menu.
3. Select the Local Files tab and click the Verify integrity of game files... button.
4. Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take several minutes.
5. Once the process is completed, the Check Window will automatically exit.

Once we have this information, we will do our best to further assist you in resolving this matter.

Thank you for your continued support,

Check to make sure you don't have a program called Magnet running on the Mac. I have many issues in certain games while this program is running.
