I don't know how to interrupt someone's work
I knocked Ronald and made him black out. I tied him up and dumped him into a dark corner. No one released him during his entire working time. He couldn't even attend everning meal. However, this strategy is not working. He's still occupied. What else can i do with it?

lol, kinda easy. Just find your taget, get your weapon (or fists) ready and knock em out. Then carries his body closer to your work area and repeat ^^

Those work but the simplest way is to order the guy to follow you around during the work period. This can be done by hovering your mouse over him and pressing 'Q' while his Opinion of you is over 80.

The easiest way to achieve that is to gather combs from the other prisoner's desks, make them into shivs by using the comb on the wall, and then giving them to the guy who has the job you want. All other desks besides your own are refreshed each time you sleep with a comb, toothpaste, toilet paper, and soap so those items are infinitely refreshable so long as you sleep and save before 6 AM after which you just lie down and rest until morning roll call without saving.

Do make sure that you have enough INT to take the job you want before the work time finishes so that you can apply instantly, the lower on the list it is the higher INT you need with the Metalshop requiring 70 INT to apply. You don't have to maintain the INT to keep the job but 60-70 INT is needed to craft some of the more useful items, plastic keys being the primary, so having high INT is generally a good idea anyway.

You also need to have low heat or they will tell you to screw off but that's easy enough by finding a guard, punching him, and then letting him knock you out. When you are knocked out and wake up in the infirmary, your heat always drops to zero instantly.

If you couldn't be bothered trying to get an inmates opinion above 80, simply wait outside his workstation and punch him once. Punching him will make him forget that he has to work, and he'll chase you instead. As long as you can lure him around the prison long enough for the work period to end, he should lose his job, no duct tape or dark corners needed.
