Also, for Stalag, the only items you need are a set of cutters and a red key.
That's the easiest way for sure. However, I had a BLAST digging my way out of Stalag on my second run.
I chipped my way into the utility area in the exercise room. I covered the hole with a poster and starting digging my way south. Once I hit the fence, I started digging my way toward the generator. Once I got to the right spot, I held my breath and dug my way up. Once inside the generator room I cut the power and jumped back down my hole. I filled the hole back up with dirt and dashed to the fence underground. I cut the fence with a pair of clippers and got back above ground. I attended nightly roll call, put a dummy in my bed and ran to my hole before the doors locked. Dug one spot south, then up and onto freedom. One of my favorite escapes yet!
