Why can't you dig through 2 or more block walls?
I feel like i should be able to dig through the 3 block wall to the left of your cell in San Pancho.

It'd be too overpowered. If you could just chip through any wall at all, you would never need to use the roof or the vents.

the black thing isn't for nofing a obstacle

Not really, considering you would have to use 2 posters/fake wall blocks and you would have to chip through THAT many walls, resulting in more tools.

But you could just make one straight wall of posters directly out of the prison. It's like making a big line of doors that lead all the way to the edge of the prison.

Also, please don't reply with "Not really". I hate when people don't just blatantly say "NO. u r rong ♥♥♥". It annoys me for some reason.

most of the time, a straight line of posters would be more complicated than normal. it's just another way to escape prison. if its a small wall, you need to way more after you get through the wall. If its a big wall, its the whole prison but it isn't JUST digging, you have to get the tools to dig and have the energy to dig as well.

But doesn't that mean you could essentially chip your way out of prison? That's just like digging directly to the edge of the map, i.e. not very fun, or creative. Plus, changing their functionality now would break a lot of maps that require these mysterious black gaps as a security measure.

you can chip trough 2-thick walls (see HMP-irongate pakkage job), but in this case there is an obstacle

Because it's a hell of a lot easier than digging to the edge.

Basically, these black gaps in between walls are like the reinforced concrete that prevents you from digging underground. Both methods need to be buffed slightly, so consider the black gaps as a buff.

you DO know what a buff is right?

btw, its realistic to be able to dig through, and everything else is realistic, right?

(except for the fact that you STILL can't sell stuff D:<)

I wouldn't say this game is realistic. From a gameplay perspective, being able to chip through any wall you want is overpowered.

And yes, I meant to say debuffed.

If this was a court case I'd be asking the judge to give his verdict, but unfortunately we're not playing Ace Attorney right now, so I can't...

Such sadness. I can't be an attorney in real life...

Well I could, but it'd be nowhere near as fun as Ace Attorney.

Plus, I don't really have the willpower to go through all the effort involved in becoming an Attorney.
