The Sheet Rope is how I got down from the roof. Got to the outer wall and expected to be able to use the Grappling Hook to get on top of it, then the Sheet Rope to descend down the other side.

Yeah, I think that you will need to get a sturdy shovel and dig under the wall.
Yeah. It's just weird that you can only use the grappling hook to go DOWN from the roof :P
The grappling hook allows you to ascend small walls on the roof, while sheet rope (or normal rope) allow you to descend them. And yes, you can scale the outer wall with the grappling hook, but only if you're on the roof (so you must be on a roof adjacent to the outer wall, and there's only one, that's the point).
Do you try to use it to descend small walls on the roof ? Sheet rope can't do anything else.
