Online Mod

What do you guys think about an online mod ? they could be two teams guard and escapists escapists could do anything like in solo mod with more options and they could be like a server where when u escape u finished this server u go to another and people can join at any moments

Guards could abuse. I think escapists only but in the hardest prison only.

but it could be like the mod altis life on arma or dark rp on gmod it could be a bit of rp and the owner of server could kick abuser but idk maybe it could be special prisons aleatory generated with escapists only ?

ChrisD is going to add Multiplayer options later. The kickstarter funding goal for it was reached, and it doesn't seem the kind of game you could play local. So, no Mod will be required.

Yay there may be a multiplayer

Please, just a simple multiplayer co-op escape prison together with buddies.
This would be way too unbalanced and hard to make.

I realy don't want to see this turned into a 2d version of GMod's jailbreak. I don't want to see people having to be banned for abusing powers, and if anyone were to play on multiplayer, it'd probably be on a small 2-4 player server for only prisoners. If the guards were players, they'd just abuse the vents and the game would need to implement fog of war.

It'd really only work for prisoners before it became too unbalanced and servers need to be administrated.

Keep in mind that nobody will actually administrate a server unless they're being paid to, or if they were also playing, just with banning and kicking permissions. Either way, it could get really messy, really quickly.

Just a co-op mode would be pretty great.
The more prisoner capacity the better, though, I'd really like to get together with my friends on a prison and turn it into our own fortress from the ground up, or just have fun fooling the guards and escaping, or ganging up on people and shanking them mercilessly.

I think there should not be a team with real ppl guards as its called The *ESCAPISTS* but there should be a multiplayer mod but the person must have the escapists to play like a add on/DLC but free

I'd love such a team mod. It would require some balancing such as guards having their own routines and checks they have to do as opposed to just sitting on player characters. Like having to check on npc inmates as well as doing patrols and what not.

bruh just play the escapists 2, the devs aren't gonna revisit this game it's pretty darn old
