But maybe at night the rules can change a little? That would allow for daring escapes, while still keeping the challenge of solitary during the day. It isn't like Guards will just 'forget' that hole in the vents during the day, but if they spot you digging to freedom at night... that's pretty different.
agree, other prisinors should also be sent to solitary
Guards: ooh contraband in bob's desk, must be <insert your prisoner's name here>'s stuff.
SOLITARY
Scene 2
Guards:lololol patrolling lololol.... NOTHING IN BED SEND IN THE WIZARDS TO DRAG HIM BACK!
if the guards had to find you, it would be too OP, I think it's balancing the game, because if you can cut down hole walls with plastic forks, then guards can drag you back, just be smarter then the guards, that's all guys, if they don't see the hole, everything is fine
5 only, in some cases it would be hard to found you, because you burry yourself under tha ground without having a bed dummy in your bed, so they can't found you
What would be the point in hiding away in a vent or a hole, anyway? They'd find you eventually, it would be dumb to expect them to simply 'forget', and it'd be a waste of gameplay, not to mention a waste of time trying to develop this into the game to begin with. It is a little jarring to get suddenly thrown in solitary, but frankly you'd be raging all the same over being caught at all rather than dealing with solitary.
And honestly, I think this is balanced out by the fact that you can always just restart the day again. Your game doesn't save when it sends you to solitary, after all.
