How am I gonna deal with the mines in San Pancho??

I’ve got an escape route figured out, Sneak out of my cell, cut through and turn off the generator, rope down to the ground and cut the fence before the generator turns back on, use a fake fence, then escape except idk how I’m gonna deal with the mines, I know I could dig around them but that’ll take ages and with my current load out I could only fit 1 Timber Brace in there? Is there an effective and efficient way to deal with mines?

You should find a way to dig a long tunnel inside the prison grounds that goes under the mines. That is the only reliable way to deal with those.

But that'll be so time consuming I don't rlly want my score to be lower than Jungle Compound, then is there anyway to escape without having to pass through the mines?

and idk how I'll be able to even dig a hole in San Pancho, I can chip through a wall and quickly cover it up with a poster no problem but with everyone going in and out of the cells constantly during the day and then at night while sharing a room with 4 other ppl who will narc on you despite being asleep would be almost impossible to pull off, I have to think smart, digging a huge hole with so many people around is like begging to be caught

There isn't any other way to pass through mines. You should find a different place to dig other than the cells. I would suggest places with the black grated floor, especially the one above tailor's room. There you should be able to dig up and have a way to go out of the prison walls often.

Well I guess that’ll work, I’d have to get the Tailor job but that’s no biggie, thanks, really wish there was some other way to avoid the mines and escape

Even thought I’m not really stoked about how much tiles I’ll have to be digging and timber braces I’ll need but whatever

If you're worried about needing a lot of wood and metal you can get unlimited amount from the building outside the walls of the tailor room. Once outside, head left until you see a building with a red key and there will be wood and metal inside.
