More consequences for beating up guards and Stat ideas.
I have only been playing for a few hours, but basically the very first thing I did was workout nonstop, ignoring everything else, until my speed and strength both got to 100. I was able to do this in about 3 prison days total, so that kind of bummed me out. I'd like to see higher limits on those stats, perhaps up to 200 but a catch being that they take longer to earn past 100 (say 199-200 takes twice as many reps as 99-100) and you lose them at double the rate.

It might also be cool if you introduced a combat stat that leveled up as you fight more often or an endurance stat that acts like damage reduction that you get from taking damage, or perhaps fighting would give small boosts to Strength and speed so you can maintain them (Working out for 10 minutes to go back from 99-100 every day feels like a minor nuisance daily quest and I can't see any good reason for it, although the 15 point stat losses if you get sent to solitary are a good incentive to avoid it).

At any rate, that brings me to my main observation: At 100 strength and 100 speed, it's very easy to take down a guard, and with the right weapon or some clever movement you can dispatch two at once. What I noticed is that there seems to be absolutely no consequences for doing this, contrary to what I imagine would happen in real life. You just take their stuff and walk off, and when they wake up they apparently don't tell anybody what happened unless you took a key since no other guards seem to care.

What I would imagine should happen is that all guards go hostile and will attack you on sight, and any time you beat up a guard you have to be prepared to fight your way to wherever you want to go or make a mad dash to store whatever you grab.

I'd also like to see the same thing happen in the case of reported keys rather than you automatically being ported to solitary, the idea being that you can go down fighting instead of the artificial capture (and maybe have some extra time to run to your final escape plan), which in my mind would be more satisfying. Also, if you reach the peak of all physical stats (max combat, endurance, str and speed or something) and have a very good weapon you could theoretically Bruce Lee your way out of the prison by beating all the guards by yourself as they trickle in to try to take you to solitary.

Good idea. But I would introduce a pickpocket system, where you can use your wits to steal a small items from an inmate or guard (such as a key, file, screwdriver, etc).

This way, you choose to use intellect OR strength, which diversify your tactics.

Pickpocketing or more diverse skills or abilities would be a nice thing too... Perhaps a sprint ability gets unlocked once you reach a certain level of speed that lets you move very fast and increases your fatigue.

It has to stay simple. I think the devs prefer to put the emphasis on escaping the jail, instead of staying in forever.

Read books in the library.

What happened when I attacked a bunch of guards and took them out, I just got a letter basically saying that they got my point, although I took quite a few out before this happened.
