What is the poster for, and can I put it on the wall?

im guessing it can be used to cover up a hole in the wall if u are digging through a wall

Poster is for hiding holes in the wall. Dig a hole so it looks black and then use the poster on that tile, and it will cover it up.

I don't know if it works that way, I gather you can make a "fake wall" rendering the poster a bit obselete.

The fake wall has a durability, plus it's CONTRABAND!! The poster, does both the job of the fake wall AND fake vent cover, has no durability limit, and is NOT contraband.

This is not true. (I think, it didn't say that on the wiki, and from my experinence)
It is true for for bedsheets over bars though. Not posters.
