Thumbs up guard

i noticed when i click on a guard a thumb up icon appears each time i do it, what does that mean? does it mean im getting on the guards good side or somthing?

Like you said, it means you are getting on his good side.

This means you are raising his opinion of you, making him like you more and favour you over others. If you are on good terms with that guard, he wont tear down your bed sheets on the bars and such. Attacking him will reduce his opinion of you by a ton (obsiously, you just beat the ♥♥♥♥ out of him)

Like everyone else said, yes this puts them on your good side, if it their opinion of you is over 35 (I think) they will not tear down your sheets and if it is over some other number them will not attack you when they see you in a cell. I noticed this because a guard with an opinion of me of 30 saw me in a cell, he told me to leave and instantly attacked me, but a guard with an opinion of 70 saw me in a cell, told me to leave and kept walking.

Its 50 not 35, i wish it was though.

Really? I have a guard with an opinion of 40 of me right now on my current game and he constantly walks past cells and never takes down the sheets.
