"cannot connect to destination host" error
for some reason, i cant even play the game (ABSOULTELY NOTHING) because every time i launch my ylands it gives me the "cannot connect to destination host" error i've tried reinstalling the game reconnecting to my internet (it is fine btw) though people are saying to fix the error i have to disable my antivirus (which is a horrible idea so no not doing that) and i dont know what to do. any help here?

Send a bug report in-game anyway, might help the Devs find what caused the problem and implement a fix so it doesn't happen again

Occasionally the Nitrado servers which Ylands uses undergo maintenance or experience unscheduled outages for various reasons, which can cause the error you are receiving. Sometimes it's only a few branches of their servers so not everyone will be effected. You might just have to try again later, unfortunately it is outside of the dev teams control.

it has been happening since the start of today and wasn't happening yestrayday so ima wait till tommorow and see if its still happening

its still happening so the only logicly thing i can do is restart my pc

Can you make it to the main menu at all to send a bug report?

nope. it just loads and eventully gave me the error, but luckily i managed to answer this on my own by restarting my pc.

How does one send an in-game bug report without having access to the main screen? Cuz I can't even get that far. I get that start up screen, then the error one second later, like the game doesn't even try connecting. Pressing 'ok' closes the game.

You can also send bug reports either here in Steam, on the Ylands Forums website , on the Ylands Discord or via email. There is a pinned message in the General discussions category here with instructions as well as on the other platforms.
