NPC Response to Ranged Attacks
Here's what I've observed in 2.0. I'm not sure if this is a change or not over previous versions:

1. NPC is guarding a POI, or if it's wildlife just roaming the map (e.g., a tiger)
2. Before NPC notices me (no exclamation marks over their head) shoot them with arrow or bolt
3. The NPC runs off for some distance in a seemingly random direction
4. After some time the NPC returns to the vicinity of the POI, or resumes roaming

The problem is that the NPC NEVER engages in combat with me. They just run off in a panic. At times the "random direction" will even take the NPC directly past me, yet I'm ignored. So, combat just becomes an exercise in crafting enough ammo and then shooting fish in a barrel. What's worse is that if the NPC is part of a group the members of the group don't engage either.

What I'd expect:

1. Only sometimes does the attack instill panic, and when it does the NPC at least has heightened awareness (i.e., can detect me at greater range)
2. Other times the NPC finds cover and/or responds with their own ranged attack
3. Other times the NPC charges to initiate a melee attack
4. Other members of the NPC group initiate their own attacks

Hi there, we know there are issues with AI behavior, and we try to make it better with each update. :)

Shoot them with any 'gun' (loud bang) you will be surprised... The Arrows or Bolts (no bang) did not tell them wehre you are.
