Cassava Root or plant

I am in the monsoon islands and cannot find the cassava root and hints would be great

I see you asked the same question in the Discord but I will put my answer here in case it helps someone else or you don't see it in the Discord ...

Cassava plants are found in Monsoonal but specifically only in the wetland biome along with the willow trees and rice plants. Usually spawning in small clusters, they have a better chance of appearing if this wetland biome is large so it is possible they can be missing from the biome if it is only very small. Large Monsoonal islands will have a better chance of spawning them
