Recipe problems in exploration.

Whether it's finding, unlocking, or something else entirely, I keep finding myself missing some key recipes. Actions I would've thought would unlock new recipes haven't, and I struggle to find the points of interest that provide the recipes I need. Somehow, crafting wind turbine blades didn't unlock the recipe for wind turbines. After stumbling around and finding the recipe for wind turbines (and building a wind turbine), I couldn't link the wind turbine to the electrolytic station because I don't have the recipe for the energy linker. I still don't have the recipe for the energy linker.

If that weren't frustrating enough, I can't even craft pumpkin seeds. Yes, I've picked pumpkins. Somehow, that did not give me the recipe for pumpkin seeds. Other plants give the recipe for seeds as expected, but specifically pumpkins do not.

The final issue I'll touch on in this post is a sort of 're-unlocking' problem. The recipes don't seem to ever go away, but every so often, as I explore, old recipes that I've had for ages get tagged as 'new'. I've had it happen with campfires, Native American clothing and weapons, and the electrolytic station.

I get that exploring is the point of exploration mode, but this is just ridiculous. How is the energy linker not unlocked immediately after crafting an energy workbench? Why is it taking so much effort for basic things? I'm a tad frustrated with the state of things, so I'll take a break until the next update. I hope this stuff can be fixed.

1. The recipes stuff is getting a new system so no more frustration in the future you can buy the ones you really need with exploration point so you wont struggle for a long time,

For now you can join the official discord and trade or ask someone to hold one and it will unlock the energy linker,

2. Pumpkin seeds are only to get when you destroy them wile the pumpkin is out of the inventory, I will play the seed problem in the discord

Not interested in any of the multiplayer aspects of the game, but thanks for the offer. Is there a reason pumpkins have to be broken to get the seeds? Kinda strange that it's the only food that requires that method. I'll just wait until the updates unless there's some way of identifying which points of interest could give me the energy linker. The wiki isn't as helpful as I was hoping.

Ill guess the pumpkin seed thing is just a mistake/forgotten.. we all make them but i have been sending the problem in the feedback and sure it will be fixed in one of the updates,

Some recipes are given random, some are to get from mystery island and some will unlock when you get all the resources need, its like when you start fresh and pick up a shell it will give you the recipe of dye, sticks gives poles ec.

In my case i had to make an ''auger'' to unlock ''zerconium drill'' so check the recipe of energy linker on wiki, get all the stuff you need and it might unlock but if not then yeah spend 5 min with the community or explore more.. thats all we can do until the new system will be there with an update in 2023.

On the Energy Workbench, you need to build a Vacuum Tube to unlock the Energy Linker.
