I've been through about 4 locations since the new update and have yet to find any wrecks. Haven't found any traders either other than the ones which we can summon which don't sell anything you can't make or find yourself. They are of no use to me so I'm not even bothering with them now.
During testing there were a lot of ylands that had encounter placeholders.
So when you are discovering unpopulated ylands I believe it is that those ylands have been
designated to encounters they have not yet finished developing.
The same yland would likely be populated in the future once the encounter catalog is more
complete.
I mean, there used to be stuff on all the islands before the last update. We're 6 versions into the release game and they're backtracking once again, making things worse with every update.
Well, it's gone from enjoyable to less enjoyable, that sounds like backward progress to me. Same thing happened when they switched from the original single huge map to the tiny map and multiple tiny maps. Apparently we're never going to get the huge maps back so I'll at least make due with the small ones. But now the small ones have gotten even worse. I'll give it some time and see if they improve it again, though. Meanwhile I have funner games to play. So this one goes on the back burner, yet again.
