how on earth does smeone find clay in Ylands ive searched everywhere

its real bad ..
on most islands is clay common material.
and i think there must be minimal one becourse without clay you can not build many things ..
easy way is start new island , but its not best..
another thing is open your game in editor and put there some clay ...

I agree. Both the frequency and appearance of clay need to be regularized. I had to walk around the island for an entire in-game day before finding a single clay deposit. Its appearance needs to be made much more different than the solid rock faces and the brownish-gray color of parts of the forest biome. Considering how starkly different iron, flint, and coal are, it amazes me they couldn't figure out clay.

Clay is easy to find. There are usually only 2 or 3 spots on an island. White = flint, Grey = Iron, Greyish White = Clay. There usually are in the green areas and near to the beach. There will always be a huge one. I usually find a massive hole in the ground and deep cave because someone has grinded it down deep, but there is always more in that rabbit hole. Now sulfur and saltpeter are hard to find atleast on the islands I have been to. Good luck.

Is it guaranteed an island will haven everything somewhere on it? I cannot find surface deposits of copper or any rubber trees.

rubber treees are only on tropic islands i think and sulfur is on desert island ... you need boat or ship and with map go to other island ... take some seeds and go back ... :(

or again ... use editor and "craft" soem of them on your island.
