Can't build RUBBER SLAB and DRIVE BELT

I have to build drive belt so that I can continue my game. But even though I have raw rubber and saltpeter chunk I still don't have the option to build both rubber slab and drive belt. Please help me

I think you need sulphur, not saltpeter... and it’s done in the chemistry table (can’t remember it’s proper name)

oh sorry i typed that wrong. But even the raw rubber wont show up on the list too...

Raw rubber won’t show up because it’s not something you craft.

Have you made the chemistry table? That should unlock rubber bar.

If you have already made it, try looking in the “suggested” tab of the crafting window for something the game thinks you still need to make.

Yes i have made the chemistry table. But there is nothing i can do with it. And it only shows drive belt in the suggestrd tab, which i cant make it...

Very strange.

I have seen something similar before, where it turned out the guy had found his iron plates rather than make them.

If you are not seeing gunpowder either then it seems like sulphur is the culprit. The only thing I can suggest is to try mining some sulphur to see if that triggers the unlock.

If u are trying to make a rubber slab for the ' vbelt ' u need - Chemistry table and sulphur & raw rubber - fyi - raw rubber is harvested from rubber trees. ( description of rubber tree , look tall semi thin tree with off white color & located within semi tropical ' rain forest ' ) U will need a knife to harvest 1 raw rubber per rubber tree & remember to be holding the knife in order to get the prompt. Once u harvest ur one raw rubber a cut will appear on the rubber tree. Btwn harvesting each rubber tree will require some time before another ( 1 raw rubber ) can be harvested again - ( rinse & repeat for infinite raw rubber ) . Another strategy is to harvest rubber tree seeds & re-plant a ready supply of rubber trees that can be tapped for rubber again & again .
