Books
Are books simply atmospheric, or does reading them supply information, open crafts... anything like that?

Why not testing it?

I wondered the same thing. Read the books but nothing else happened. So question remains. Is there anything hidden, is it worth keeping the books or can I turn them into paper without losing anything. And Faya, i've read your comments earlier in different posts. Just because you know everything or just don't care, doesn't mean everybody else feels the same.

My understanding is: Books will be both Aesthetic and helpful. But it ' seems ' at the moment they are mostly a nice side item like a book in DayZ. I have found a cookbook that was fun to have, and I was sure it would help with cooking. But no, it didnt at this moment.
