Have you tried popping all the baloons in the training area?

Or seeing if you can turn in 1 fish to Bail (if you missed one coin from turning in fish she’ll give you the coins again)

Those are the two common easily missed spots,
Otherwise I have a guide on all the coin locations plus you also have the compass, so could try using them if it wasn’t one of the two first suggestions.

Old topic I know. But for anyone having the same issue, I was missing one coin as well.

My last one was a enemy in the mortar island, just have a quick scout around until your compass starts glowing red. The faster it flashes, the closer you are to a coin.
