Demo Feedback - Thought so far
[Current Progress] - [Roughly 1 hour] - [Third area beyond crosses] - [Unsure of total game play time for demo so doing this now]

The game so far is really fun, the game play, the different play styles and enemies are really cool. This game seems to have a lot of potential and I am looking forward to how this proceeds.

Whats Good/What I like:
- I like the aesthetic of chess pieces in combat and the use of what I believe is Latin, it gives a Lies of P type of vibe
- Environment, I like the open world setting where it's a society of chess pieces and sculptures, the areas could be slightly more condensed as to not feel too empty in certain areas
- Enemies are fun so far they give a good sense of difficulty
- Move-sets are unique and each chess piece feels like its own character
- Pause button
- The I-frames on the roll feels nice and perfect rolls are rewarding

Current Concerns:
- Lack of bon-fire/grace system for saving, you're forced to do a run back on each death which gets tiring very quickly
- Slights bugs, the little summons made by the rook won't de-spawn and float in the air for a while
- Parry system, this feels fine so far, but the parry feels slightly off beat when activating assuming the sigil that appears is for proper timing, will sometimes go red indicating a failed parry despite using the same timing for a good parry
- Camera, even with the lock on feature the camera goes ballistic sometimes, especially on the bishop when it spins on its head
- The walls aren't solid, this is in tandem with the camera issue, when it goes ballistic I look into the void rather than the perspective changing slightly
- Knight Chess Piece, the piece that appears as a horse doesn't feel like it does much compared to the others, it feels oriented towards speed but the run speeds all feel the same and the bash move does very little damage or increase speed

Thank you so much for your feedback, we will fix a lot of the issue you found, probably the most difficult one will be the camera, we are a very small team with no budget and sometimes it seems impossible to make a good camera with a fast paced gameplay without better knowledge 😅
