I'll never understand why you would do that in a game you enjoy when its on its last legs.
But if you quit due to those few annoying bugs, you are wrong!!!
just play level up be friendly and dont be shy , community will help you no matter the server you onn.
Got hit on atol yeah ffs annoying, remember name and level player dont go mad on worldchat, just mention this and that player pk me on atlol 99%of time one veteran will rush there
and avenge you(yes that really happens if you dont go crazy on wchat). Also there is 2 timezone's^^
Got hit in 1 go to the other server most players there now dream about sheep jumping fences and you will have whole atol too yourself. Now gathering on atol is a risk and tbh you the fool wenn you go gather tons and tons make a trip to bank in between remember the area you go provides easy gainings BUT theres a risk of getting owned.
If the atol is a game flaw is another discussion and maybe also feel a little for these annoying punksplayers its obviuos they total useless nabs if they would been anny good they would play lol or dota or be a pvp hero in wow they are on eldevin due too their skills.... lev up gear up and wenn you a big boy or girl these flees wont bother you and chances are by time you are 49 level and a known and respected player these vermin are still frowned upon.
I also had a very descent group of in game friends, a few international people too and was never short of a team to go do dungeon grinds with. That and world bosses every week with the server.
Eldevin is a pretty fun game and much more easier to get into and imo, more fun than games like Runescape or Albion. I never liked their subscription model though, it was P2W since it cut your grind time by half, but that's another argument altogether.
At the end Eldevin just didn't have the content, community, business model, or a developer with good foresight to get it beyond what it currently is or was at it's population peak. They seriously dropped the ball and let the game go into obscrurity. That being all said, Eldevin like many pvp/pve combo games don't work. You should either focus on one or the other.
Long story short, I quit Eldevin simply because the game got boring and knowing pretty much all the high level people and who were the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥,pkers, and friendlies was pretty easy since the list wasn't that big. Again, small population.
Yep. Some people like it, some people don't. So when you mix them then it generally sucks for all involved. pvpers zzzzz at the PVE (unless its really good) and pvers going about their business hate getting killed without warning. Result, a lot of moaning on forums. Balance changes, unless they balance them separately (and so few have devs learned this lesson) also sucks for one or the other. - Fallout 76 is destined to learn all this the hardway of course, at least its obvious what it is going in, an arena type shooter. So if someone is going in for PVE or questing/building and doesn't expect to die, pvp or get griefed then that is on them.
I'll go play Fallout4 and forget about this game.
Yes you should loose all the tokens and gold you collected if you get PK'd. IF you are not smart enough to go dump the tokens you collect when you get them and get killed and loose them too bad.
Now I will use AMONSTER as an example. Here is a person that has really nice gems in low level gear. He likes to PK and I say good for him.
But this too shall pass, and he will soon figure out that putting high level gems in low level gear is just a waste of time and effort since it will take around (50 EP each) just to extract the gems once he levels the char and needs a new weapon/armor. And this will/should get expensive after a bit, and daddy may get pissed off with you wasting his money on buying EP all the time.
What the Dev team needs to do is reconfigure what is lost when a player is killed.
And if you dont like being killed all the time go collect the needed mats outside of TA and you wont have any issues other than being attacked by NPCs.
Enjoy playing it alone.
