I hold "E", it starts loading

I have downloaded Uplay and put the activation code in - tried loading from there as well as from steam directly. Get a loading wheel for a few seconds then nothing. I'm hoping I didn't just throw away $60

Hello guys I have just bought and installed Far Cry 4 but when I try to run the game the starting screen shows up but then nothing happens and the game does not start. I have tried all the solutions

it was working before now its not ive reinstalled the whole game a few time and tried to download the editor again but it instantly says download completed but it dosent actually download anything. any ideas on how to fix this?
