Fix for Xbox Controllers Not Working in Far Cry 4 (PC/Steam)

If your Xbox controller isn’t working properly when launching Far Cry 4 on PC (Steam), here’s a fix that worked for me and my wife.

Steps to Fix Controller Issues:

1. Launch the game normally using mouse & keyboard (MnK).
   
2. Go to Settings > Display > Change to Windowed Mode.
   
3. Save and exit the game (it should save automatically).
   
4. Launch Steam in Big Picture Mode (optional, but it worked for me).
   
5. Connect your controller and restart the game.
   
6. Once the game starts, your controller should work properly.

Notes:

Big Picture Mode might not be necessary, but it helped in my case.
I haven’t tested this with PlayStation controllers or generic gamepads, so feel free to try and share your results!
