Hello people, one question, I literally bought far cry a day ago, and when I open it I only see a black screen, I have the minimum requirements that the game asks for except the processor, which is old, but other games that work well for me They ask for more but this one doesn't even open, if anyone has a solution, tell me pls
ANSWER
sorry man you need to meet the FAR CRY 4 system requirements
and yes that includes at least a quad core CPU
Dual Core cpu's are not supported ..yes you need a quad core cpu
see http://www.pcper.com/news/Processors/Far-Cry-4-Does-Not-Support-Dual-Core-Processors-Budget-Landscape-Shifting
and http://wccftech.com/death-gaming-dual-core/
you also need a video card better then an Nvidia GTX 460 or AMD HD5850 with at least 1 gig of dedicated Video Ram
*Note Direct X 10 class video cards will not work *
and a 64 bit operating system as well as at least 4 gig of system ram
you should have read the system requirements on the store page before you bought the game
Minimum supported Intel CPU is a QUAD CORE

Can you please provide us with your full PC specs, so we can have a look? As @-=SOF=-WID99 mentioned, Far Cry 4 requires CPU with 4 cores minimum:
''Processor: 2.6 GHz Intel® Core™ i5-750 or 3.2 GHz AMD Phenom™ II X4 955 <--*note* both are Quad core CPU's''
If, however, your CPU meets the requirements, can you please try the troubleshooting steps {LINK REMOVED}in this article? It will help to eliminate any potential software conflicts.
@-=SOF=-WID99 - thank you for sharing!
